To all who don't know where is saputara,what's so special about saputara and such type of question will be give in this blog..firstly this was my first visit to saputara.saputara is place near nashik its like a boarder of Gujarat and Maharashtra in this post i will be sharing my experience in saputara. i was here for like 4 days as it was a short tour for me in total this is or i can say this was my 7 place i visit in total till now as a trip!! so as we decided to go to saputara i started this where is place? some of my friends knew where it is. so i asked them..and i got to know as its in Gujarat, i was like if its in Gujarat then how's google saying it Maharashtra
As this was a bit confusing for me..as the day came i got some info on this..
its 243 km from mumbai | 136 km from surat (guj) | it's 7i4 km from nashik aprox. 1 hour and 40 mins if you see the road condition and all then from mumbai its approx. 4 hours 50 mins with an avg. speed.
i got here in saputara but i stayed in HATGAD which is around 6 km from or before saputara
the best thing here was the clouds wondering always as i stayed on hill area, it was full-on foggy for the whole 4 days, the good thing is it remains cool. It rains mostly due to that and the bad thing is due to that the visibility goes down
as the days pass i was getting bored due to that but instead of that from 1 out of 4 day i stayed here
we went to saputara were the market and the visiting points are there. I will mention all the visit point which are here for which its famous for.
- saputara is 3000ft up from sea-level
- there is a rope way too !! its but if the visibility is poor they don't start it and that happened with us ..due to which i missed the fun
- then there is a sun set point
- table point which also near to the sun set point
- museum is also there in front of the lake
- As i said lake, there is boating for all of you who loves it :)
- there are few gardens - rose garden
- IN TOTAL there are 12 point which you can visit
- the next is the hatgad fort which is an old fort
- echo point in saputara
Reasons To Visit
- Saputara is a hill station and a lakeside getaway
- Saputara lies on border of Maharashtra and Gujarat and is the only hill station in Gujarat State.
- Main attraction of Saputara is Ropeway and Boating.
- Saputara is an all-season getaway / destination especially visited in monsoon for its misty backdrop / green surroundings / waterfalls
now as all must be knowing...that flipkart & amazon are running the BIG BILLION DAYs is running for flipkart and amazon is running THE GREAT INDIAN SALE
